Metabolic Intelligence Case Consultation – 1:1 [£295]

£295.00

A Metabolic Intelligence 1:1 is where we take your case apart like a legal brief, not a wellness chat: we map your symptoms, history, labs and medications as one metabolic system, show you the logic behind your blood pressure / weight / cholesterol / thyroid chaos, and spell out the trade-offs your current treatment plan is making for you. No pastel affirmations, no “it’s just your age”, no pretending a 10-minute guideline consult is enough. You’re paying for hard, honest thinking about what’s plausibly going on in your body so you can walk into future appointments with a clear brief instead of vague anxiety.

Metabolic Intelligence Case Consultation – 1:1

For people who are done being managed and want to be briefed.

Modern medicine is brilliant at emergency care.
It is abysmal at explaining what is happening to you.

If you’ve collected labels – “borderline diabetic”, “a bit hypertensive”, “thyroid normal”, “cholesterol high, statin recommended” – but no one has ever sat down and shown you the system behind them, these sessions are for you.

Metabolic Intelligence 1:1 is where we take your case apart like a legal brief – calmly, clinically, without flattery – and build a coherent explanation of your metabolism that you can actually use.

No wellness fluff. No hand-waving about “everyone’s different”.
Just physiology, incentives, and what they’ve meant in your case.

Who this is for

You are the kind of person who:

  • Has seen GPs, maybe specialists, maybe private clinics – and still doesn’t have a joined-up explanation of your symptoms and lab results.

  • Has been told “your bloods are fine” while you feel exhausted, wired and tired, gaining weight, losing focus, sleeping badly, or constantly anxious.

  • Has a growing list of issues – high blood pressure, raised cholesterol, thyroid concerns, blood sugar creeping up, perimenopausal chaos – but nobody has treated them as one metabolic problem.

  • Is intelligent enough to read, listen, think… and is tired of being spoken to as if you were not.

  • Wants a clear, precise briefing on what is going on – not another pep talk, fad diet or supplement shopping list.

If you still believe the system will, with a bit more time, sort this out for you, you don’t need me.

If you’ve realised you’re going to have to understand it yourself, you might.

What we do in a Metabolic Intelligence 1:1

This is not “tell me your symptoms and I’ll guess a diagnosis”.
It’s a structured examination of your case.

Together we will:

  • Map your story
Timeline of symptoms, diagnoses, medications, life events and attempts to fix things. What changed when, and what the system did in response.

  • Interrogate your data
Bloods, scans, blood pressure readings, wearables, medications, “normal” ranges. What they really suggest about insulin, thyroid, lipids, inflammation, nervous system tone and energy balance.

  • Identify the pattern, not just the bits
How your thyroid, insulin, blood pressure, appetite, sleep, mood and weight interact in you. Where the system treated separate problems, we look for a single logic.

  • Clarify the effects of your medications
What your current drugs are likely doing to your metabolism, appetite, weight, sleep and mood – for better and for worse. Not scare stories; just the physiology.

  • Define strategic priorities
Of all the levers you could pull – food, movement, sleep, stress, environment, medication discussions, investigations – which actually matter most in your case.

  • Prepare you for your next medical appointment
You’ll leave with clearer questions, specific requests, and language to use with your own doctor so the consultation stops being a polite ritual and starts being a negotiation between informed adults.

You do not leave with a “detox plan”.
You leave with a map and a brief.

What this is not

Clarity is important, so let’s be explicit.

A Metabolic Intelligence 1:1 is not:

  • A replacement for your GP, consultant or emergency care

  • A prescribing service

  • A promise to cure anything

  • A place where I tell you to stop medication behind your doctor’s back

  • A lifestyle influencer hour with recipe ideas and affirmations

It is an educational, analytical consultation:
I explain what your data and story most likely mean, how the system has interpreted them, and what your realistic options look like.

Any medical decisions – tests, prescriptions, dose changes, stopping or starting medication – must be made with your own clinician.

How a 1:1 works

You can tweak details, but here’s a clean structure:

1. Application & screening

You complete a short form outlining your main concerns, history and current medications. If I don’t think I can help, I’ll tell you directly.

2. Pre-session briefing

You’ll receive a secure way to upload recent blood tests and relevant reports. I review these before we speak so the session is about thinking, not data entry.

3. Consultation (online)

A 75 minute video call where we go through your story, data and patterns in detail. Expect to be asked precise questions. Expect straight answers.

4. Written summary & next steps

After the session you’ll receive a concise written summary of the key points we identified, plus structured notes you can take to your own doctor or use for your own planning.

5. Optional follow-ups

If you want ongoing support in refining your understanding and strategy, we can schedule shorter follow-up sessions.

Issues we can examine together

Typical themes people bring:

  • “Normal” thyroid results with very abnormal symptoms

  • High blood pressure in a “healthy, active” person

  • Cholesterol and ApoB worries, especially with conflicting advice about statins

  • Weight gain, cravings and fatigue despite “doing everything right”

  • GLP-1 use (Ozempic, Wegovy, etc.) and questions about long-term strategy or stopping

  • Complex medication combinations (blood pressure meds, antidepressants, statins, HRT, steroids, etc.) and their metabolic side-effects

  • Perimenopause / menopause and metabolic chaos

  • Confusion after being told everything is “fine” while clearly not fine

If it involves metabolism, chronic symptoms and a system that seems strangely incurious, we can likely make progress.

Why work this way?

Because the system you are dealing with has certain incentives:

  • It rewards speed, standardisation and guideline compliance.

  • It punishes the kind of careful reasoning complex metabolic problems require.

  • It is financially structured around prescriptions, not explanations.

You are not going to change that system.

What you can change is your position inside it:
from passive recipient of decisions you don’t understand
to informed participant who knows what’s being done and why.

Metabolic Intelligence 1:1 exists for that shift.
